How to make stretchy slime
Follow this easy recipe to make homemade slime with a few ingredients
you might already have at home. This slime is very fun to play with but also fun
to make, it doesn't take very long to make but can last up to a month.
supplies needed
- pva glue
- lotion
- almat laundry detergent
- water
- container
- mixing utensil
- washable paint or food dye
instructions
1/4 cup of pva glue |
1. First you will need pva glue. This is the main substance in the slime. You will need 1/4 cup of this, i like to call this medium sized slime. The slime mixture will grow when you add more ingredients throughout making it.
1/4 cup of lotion |
2. The next step is to add lotion. lotion will make the slime softer and more gentile to lay with . Here you can use and type of lotion i recommend scented lotion like hand lotion if u want a scented slime. I'm just using plain white body lotion. Add 1/4 cup of the lotion of your choice.
3. Now add a teaspoon of dish soap to the mixture. this will add stretchiness the slime! I recommend clear hand soap if your making white slime but you can add dish soap but that will give the mixture a small hint of green but if u add paint then you will not be able to that there's a small tint of green added.
neon pink paint |
almat laundry detergent gel |
I was obsessed with the colour straight away. It didn't come out neon pink but i liked the pastel pink.
Now using almat bought from aldi UK. its super cheap and the link will be down below for it. Basically add 5 drops of this then mix it for a 1 minute you will need to repeat this several times and this is the hardest part but the funnest at the same time as you get to see the slime form.
it will eventually stick to the spoon. Once this has happened take i out of the container, put it on the surface and play it until it stops sticking to your fingers add more almat if needed.
Lastly you need to store your slime in a container once your finished playing with it. You can also sell slime u make at home.
